After completing "May their words sound" with Amakeer, he offers "The Glimmering Meal." However, the subsequent steps repeat "May their words sound." The quest description indicates Boilghere should have "The Glimmering Meal," but talking to him gets a "This NPC has nothing to say to you" response. |

Seeing Death Realm from the arena. |

I frequently have problems with shaders, and have to log out and back in again to clear them. One particular problem area is the "ring" around the arena area. Basically after you go up the steps and cross into the main entrance, that part will be all one solid color. But the steps that continue down below and the rest are fine.
But this isn't a bug report about that. What happened was that I wanted to explore this area more so I reloaded the game. What I found was that where the steps that get you to the lower area normally are, I see the Death Realm. I steped down and actually fell into the Death Realm. I died, and started my game back in the Death Realm. I didn't mind too much since this is my first time experiencing that area.
I found my way out which took me back to outside the arena, but then again I still saw the Death Realm instead of the steps down into the center of the arena.

I have the graphics settings at max because this game runs smoothly normally on my Radeon HD 5830. I'm running Catalyst 10.5. There appears to be one particluar effect that greatly slows the system down.
There are three cases where the game slows to a crawl, and is mostly unusable. The first is when you get near a campfire, except the one near the Eagle Bronze Doors. For example the one to the right after you exit Hydlaa to the East.
Second is in the orange-lit room in the center of the gladiator arena where Gregori Stevald is standing.
The third situation is whenever someone uses magic.
I have found that the game is useable in the arena if I turn off AA and AF. Though, this is not the cause but a workaround. If I review my FPS I see that with AA and AF off, I get around 200 FPS, but in the arena room I get 38 FPS. In other words, turning off AA and AF mearly causes the degradation in FPS to not impact gameplay.
With full AA and AF, I get around 115 FPS, but 7 FPS in the arena room. |

I think there is inconsistency in temperatures of heated metals (it should be the same at least for steel, iron, gold and platinum and maybe also for bronze and copper. I am not sure about silver.
When put into the forge, it has this sequence (for steel stocks):
Heated: description: Long metal bars of steel used in smithing that are yellow hot (real temperature of yellow hot steel is around 1370K)
Super Heated: description: Long metal bars of steel used in smithing that are orange hot (real temperature of orange hot steel is around 1200K)
Red Hot: description: Long metal bars of steel used in smithing that are red hot (real temperature of red hot steel is around 1030K)
So, am I correct in the meaning, that the temperature of metals in the forge is in real rising up from red to orange, then to yellow and when rising even more, then white, and the implementing in PS is wrong or is it really as in the game where it is first heated to yellow hot and then slowly cooled down to orange hot and red hot? Because when it is as in the game, then it should never become dust, because after it becomes red hot, it should be black-brown or gray and then brown and in final it should be at normal temperature again.
By the way, there is probably also misspelled the word smithing in some descriptions, wrote as smiting |

The current "Brightness correction" seems to be implemented in a way that the brightness of the light source related to the great crystal is changed. Therefore it is absolutely useless for areas where the crystal doesn't shine (e.g. Bronze Doors inner area and cave, Kada-El's tavern, guild houses, probably the Death Realm too).
It should affect either some "ambient light", or all relevant light sources, or really an OpenGL driver related gamma feature (even though that may be hard to implement cross-platform compatible). |

It happened quite often to me that I can ride a mount familiar for some time, and it stays available a rather long time - until I dismiss it. Then I may not be able to summon it again after even a little while because:
//The power of the ring of familiar is currently depleted. It will take more time to summon a pet again.//
But if the ring was already depleted, shouldn't I have been fallen from my disappearing pet already? Shouldn't the ring refresh after my pet was dismissed?
The worst case so far: I traveled a long way, and after arriving I dismissed the pet and logged out. After logging in ~1:20 hours later, the ring was still depleted. So while being logged out, the ring does not refresh? |

Happend to me yesterday, after I tried several spells on the 'Trepor Queen'.
I casted 'Flaming Weapon' whilst having the Queen in target and ..

When starting up PlaneShift, frequently it crashes. This crash can happen when initially loading the login screen, or when loading the area after logging in and selecting a character.
Also the client crashes frequently when transitioning between areas where it needs to load the new area. Most often this happens when going between Hydlaa and East Hydlaa.
I am running the latest version on Arch Linux. The Linux kernel is 2.6.34. My graphics card is a Radeon HD 5830, and I am using Catalyst 10.5. The game is running windowed at 1920x1200 (because full screen also crashes). I also have 8X AA and 8X AF, color depth 32bit, texture quality highest, shaders highest, enabled grass, background loading models, and particles high. I do not have VBO enabled.

2) Note that your run toggle state just changed. :P
Using Ctrl or Shift as a modifier should "lock out" the functions bound to these keys by themselves. |

I can't improve the quality of either the Broadsword handle or the blade unlike other swords.
Attempt to heat the parts in the forge:

Looked through the book "Superior Sword Parchment' and didn't found any entry referencing the possiblity of doing it. |

I wonder if the loot rate should have a dependence on the attack stance ... although this might mean a disadvantage for beginners:
If the fighter is in rage for the "Bloody Stance", he will attack the opponent with all force, regardless of damage dealt to valuable body parts. So it is quite probable that he destroys most of them and won't have much success looting any useful body parts or furs.
A more defensive stance may give the fighter more time to place the hits more carefully and efficiently to only kill the opponent, but spare lootable parts. |

I tried to create a new character on ESPCUSA, running PS in a 800x600 window (my standard). I could not select or deselect any life events. Clicking on the the left/right arrows didn't do anything. Only the randomize worked. It added and added events that I couldn't remove again. I had to quit, change my settings to 1024x768 to be able to create a character, then change them back once my char had been uploaded.

The ability to cast a molten metal into an ingot should go with the ability to smelt the ore. I currently have the ability to smelt tin and copper ores and ingots, but can't cast the molten metals into ingots. |
